Stock Index Futures Mixed

September SP500 is trading at 2164.50, up 1.25. September Nasdaq 100 is trading at 4701.00, up 37.25. September Russell 2000 is trading at 1209.60, down 4.40. September Dow Industrial futures are trading at 18438, up 40. Stock index futures are trading choppy. The Nasdaq 100 is trading just under session highs. The Russell 2000 is near session lows. Market talk about corporate news and the U.S. Federal Reserve policy statement is making the rounds. The U.S. Federal Reserve Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) left the target range for its federal funds rate unchanged at 0.25 percent to 0.5 percent. The Department of Labor is scheduled to release weekly jobless claims at 8:30 a.m. ET.
