EUR/USD Little Changed Ahead of Data

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0985, down 0.0004. The pair is trading nearly unchanged on the session as overseas traders prepare to wind up trading for the day. Market chatter about headline news and central bank monetary policy has kept both buyers and sellers active. Chatter about European economic data due out the rest of the week is just beginning. The GfK German Consumer Climate survey and Germany's Federal Statistical Office monthly report on import prices are due out at 2:00 a.m. ET. France's INSEE is scheduled to release consumer confidence and producer prices (PPI) at 2:45 a.m. ET. Italy's ISTAT is set to release business and consumer confidence figures at 4:00 a.m. ET. The European Central Bank (ECB) is scheduled to release Money Supply and Loan Growth at 4:00 a.m. ET.
