Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus a year ago at 105,000 head. August live cattle is bid at 112.95, up 3.00 cents/lb. October live cattle is bid at 111.07,up 3.00 cents/lb. December live cattle is bid at 112.20, up 3.00 cents/lb.
