EUR/USD Trading Higher, IFO Current Conditions Stable

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0989, up 0.0013. The pair is trading just under the session highs. Market chatter about weekend headline news and European economic data is making the rounds. The IFO Institute's German business climate survey for July slipped to 108.2 versus 108.7 in June. Current conditions were stable at 114.7 versus 114.6 and future expectations declined to 102.2 from 103.2 in June. The French Directorate for Research, Studies, and Statistics (DARES) is scheduled to release French Jobless claims and jobseekers figures Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
