USD/CAD Moves Down

USD/CAD is trading at 1.3048, down 0.0073. The pair is trading near the session lows Tuesday morning after Monday's rise. Market chatter about crude oil prices and the Bank of Canada's (BOC) monetary policy has kept both buyers and sellers active. The BOC meets on Wednesday and will announce if there is any change to policy at 10:00 a.m. ET. Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz and Deputy Governor Carolyn Wilkins are scheduled to hold a press conference following the BOC interest rate decision and the release of its monetary policy report.
