Corn Futures Trading Higher

September Corn is trading at 347, up 5 1/4 cents/bushel. December Corn is trading at 353, up 5 cents/bushel. Corn futures are trading near the highs of session. Trading is expected to be choppy ahead of the weekend. Chatter about street estimates for reduced corn production in Brazil is lingering in the background. Corn used in last week's U.S. ethanol production totaled 103.32 million bushels. Corn used for ethanol production during this crop year is now around 4.44 billion bushels. The USDA weekly export sales report is due out at 8:30 a.m. ET. The USDA World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report (WASDE) and crop production data is due out Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
