S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Lower In Volatile Session

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 15 points at 2048.50 in Thursday's session. The weakness from the end of day on Wednesday and pre-market trading has carried over into the regular session.

So far, the index has reached 2040.75 and is attempting to rebound. Most of the top 10 components of the index are in the red. The best performer is AT&T T trading higher by $0.11 at $40.40.

Leading the way on the downside is Alphabet Inc GOOGL, trading lower by $13 at $705.92.
