June Gold futures are trading lower by $3.70 at $1249.20 per ounce in Monday's session. It's attempting to avoid its first close under $1250 since April 26, when it ended the session at $1243.40.
The early morning weakness found support just under Thursday's low ($1244.60), reaching $1243.50 before rebounding back to the $1250 area.
