June Gold futures are trading higher by $4 at $1276.60 per ounce in Monday's session. It began to rally from the start of the after-hours session and carried over into the regular session.

The rally didn't find resistance until it surpassed its five-day high ($1289.50), reaching $1290.40 before sharply reversing course. The ensuing decline found support ahead of the intra-day low ($1272.70), only reaching $1274.60 before rebounding to its current level.
