Gold Futures Higher

Gold futures are trading higher by $11 at $1138.10 in Wednesday's session. After a higher open, it retreated and found support under Tuesday's close ($1127.20), reaching $1124.80 before resuming its rally. So far, it has surpassed its former high for the move ($1131.50), reaching the $1140 handle. It's now approaching its November 2 high ($1142.80). The rolling contract for Gold has not closed above $1140 since October 30, when it ended the session at $1141.50.
