S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Lower

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 17 points at 2067.25 in Tuesday's session. The selloff from the pre-market session, which was instigated by downing of a Russian jet by Turkey, has continued into the regular session.

All but one of the top 10 components in the index are in the red. The lone winner is Exxon Mobil Corporation XOM shares which are trading $0.64 at $80.92. The company is getting a boost from the rally in crude oil.

Leading the way on the downside is Facebook Inc FB shares which are trading lower by $2.08 at $104.87. After losing support at the $106 level, it has declined to $104.39 and is attempting to rebound.
