S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Lower

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 20 points at 2073.75 in Monday's session. The weakness from the pre-market session has carried over into regular session.

After a lower open, the index has surpassed Friday's low 2077.75, reaching 2073.25 and is not far from that level. Leading the way on the downside is Exxon Mobil Corporation XOM shares which are trading lower $1.70 at $82.78. Some of that loss can be attributed to the issue going ex-dividend by $0.73.

Only two of the index's are holding at unchanged: Apple Inc. AAPL and Facebook Inc FB.
