S&P 500 Index Futures Mixed

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by one point in Thursday's session. During pre-market trading, the index found resistance above Wednesday's high (2112) and ahead of Tuesday's close (2114.50) peaking at 2113.75.

Off the decline on the open, the index found support ahead of Wednesday's low (2120.25), reaching 2104.25 before rebounding back to the close (2108).

The top 10 components in the index are mixed, with five issues trading higher and five trading lower.

Leading the way on the upside is the index's biggest component, Apple Inc. AAPL shares which are trading higher by $1.70 at $126.92. It is followed by the index's second biggest component, Microsoft Corporation MSFT shares which are trading higher by $0.42 at $45.97.

General Electric Company GE is weighing on the index as shares are trading lower by $0.14 at $26.49.
