Lean Hogs mostly lower

Tuesday's USDA hog slaughter was 422,000 head versus a year ago at 396,000 head. At last check October Lean Hogs were trading at 62.35, down 0.60. December Lean Hogs at last check were trading at 59.75, down 0.75 and August Lean Hogs were trading at 75.85, up 0.95. The USDA is scheduled to release monthly Cold Storage data on Wednesday July 22nd at 3:00 PM ET.
