Live Cattle Sharply Higher

Thursday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 114,000 head versus a year ago at 118,000 head. At last check June Live Cattle was trading sharply higher and near the highs of the trading session at 154.25, up 2.30. August Cattle was trading at 152.45, up 1.80. Trading has been firm for most of the session and general buying was seen late in the session.
