S&P 500 Index Futures Trading Higher

'' S&P 500 index futures are trading sharply higher by 25 points at 2109.25 in Friday's session. The index traded higher for the entire premarekt session and exploded when the jobs data was released at 8:30 AM. After a higher open for the regular session, the move higher continued with the index reaching 2110.75 so far. That level is just shy of the all time high close (2111.75) which was Tuesday's high as well. If the rally continues, there may be additional resistance at Monday's high of 2115.00. The all time high for the index basis the June contract stands at 2119.75.
