U.S. Dollar Little Lower

The U.S. Dollar index is trading a little lower Tuesday morning. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.51, down 0.42. Chatter about some buyers near 96.25 is making the rounds. Trading has been choppy. Chatter about U.S. economic data and the Federal Reserve meeting this week is fluid and has led to some selling. The Conference Board will release its Consumer Confidence survey at 10:00 a.m. ET. On Wednesday, U.S. GDP data is due at 8:30 a.m. ET. The U.S. Federal Reserve Open Market Committee (FOMC) will conclude its April meeting and release a statement at 2:00 p.m. ET. April's Fed meeting on Wednesday will only have a statement following the meeting. No news conference or forecasts are scheduled.
