USD/JPY is trading at 120.00, up 0.06. Japan's April Manufacturing PMI came out at 49.7 versus 50.3 in March. Market talk about comments from Japanese policy officials overnight has been making the rounds. Chatter about Japan's small business confidence index due out Thursday evening is beginning to get some attention. Early Friday, the Japanese All industry Activity Index will be released at 12:30 a.m. ET.
