S&P 500 index futures were trading lower by five points at 2086 in Wednesday's session. In a volatile session, the index rallied to 2098.50 in pre-market trading before dropping to 2080.25, then rebounding to the 2090 handle. Off the opening bell, it found resistance ahead of the pre-maket high, only reaching 2096 before selling off once again. So far, it has breached Tuesday's low (2087.25), reaching 2083.75 and is attempting to stabilize. If the pre-market low is breached, there may be additional support at Monday's low (2078.50). Shares of the
SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust SPY were down $0.16 at $209.43.
