USDA weekly export corn inspections were 1.28 million tons versus estimates of 850,000 tons. Market talk that corn export shipments have been poor and not over 1 million tons since last fall is making the rounds. Traders are concerned that shipments are below the five-year average. Brazilian Corn exports were 1.104 million tons last month versus 3.195 million tons in January and about the same as last year's data. Corn futures are trading a little higher Tuesday morning. May Corn is at 390, up 2 cents. July Corn is trading at 398 1/4, up 2 cents.
