Dollar lower ahead of U.S. Data

The March U.S Dollar Index is trading lower in early U.S. trading Friday morning. Down 0.27 at 94.75 trading has been choppy overnight. Market talk is keying in on U.S. data due out Friday morning at 8:30 ET. U.S. GDP for Q4 is expected to come in at 3.4% vs 5.0%. The chain deflator is expected to be 1.0% vs 1.4%. The Employment Cost Index for Q4 is estimated to be 0.3% vs 0.7%. Afterwards at 9:45 AM ET the Chicago PMI for January is expected come in at 57.5 vs 58.3 and at 9:55 AM ET the Michigan Sentiment index final reading for January will be released and is expected to be 97.5 vs 98.2.
