April Live Cattle settled at 150.50, down 1.00. June Live Cattle settled at 143.42, down 1.25. Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 110,000 head versus a year ago at 118 000 head. Lean hogs settled sharply lower on the day. February Lean Hogs closed down the limit at 68.52, down 3.00. April Lean Hogs settled at 73.20, down 1.75. June Lean Hogs last trade is 83.75, down 0.82. Thursday's USDA hog slaughter was 435,000 head versus a year ago at 378,000 head.
