Market players smell a rat with durable goods data via ForexLive

Ian Shepherdson at Pantheon is scratching his head over reconciling the durable aircraft numbers with Boeing's order books.

He says they booked more twice the amount of orders for the prior two months (398 aircraft) yet the data today showed civilian aircraft orders down 32% over the same period. He adds that the reason could be in any cancellations but says that something still seems amiss.

If there is anything strange then it will probably come out in the revisions.
