Live Cattle Futures Close Choppy Day Higher

February Live Cattle settled up 0.55 at 166.22 and March Feeder Cattle was up 1.92 at 223.37. Market chatter was positive as cattle futures are somewhat a discount to cash. Monday's slaughter was 106,000 head versus 110,000 a year ago and 116,000 a week ago.
