Cotton futures slightly lower

March cotton settled on Wednesday at 61.78 down 0.04. March Cotton on Tuesday reached the best levels since before Thanksgiving at 62.84 before setting back. Reduced U.S. plantings are expected and somewhat better demand. India is trying to support prices domestically by buying cotton from producers and urging grower to switch to other crops.
