Cocoa down a bit on Wednesday in thin trading

N.Y Cocoa was down a bit on Wednesday. March Cocoa settled at 2964 down 2. U.S Cocoa futures open today at 8:00 AM ET. London is closed for the Boxing Day Holiday. Recently there has been market chatter about increased Cocoa demand due to better global growth. Talk is also surfacing regarding possible weather impacts ahead in 2015 on Indonesian cocoa production if an El Nino occurs or not. The best demand growth will likely come from areas of the world that have the best population growth and income growth. West African growing weather remains ok. Ivory Coast and Ghana are behind last season's mid-December arrivals. The 4th Quarter Cocoa grinding report will be released on January 15 after the close of trading.
