The Fed is beginning to feel uneasy with inflation. US 5-year breakevens are at 1.54%, something Bullard alluded to when he talked about delaying the end of the taper.

The consensus is for a 1.6% y/y CPI rise and 1.7% on the core. Lower readings could hurt the dollar.

In Canada, august retail sales are expected flat and up 0.2% ex autos.
