Russia ready to to back EU-Ukraine trade pact as long as it's legal via ForexLive

Russian PM Medvedev says that Russia is ready to comply with all agreements on Ukraine's trade integration wth EU but says any agreements need a legal basis.

On the flip side, Putin says he discussed the current Southeast Ukraine peace process with his security council and also the negative impact from a an EU/Ukraine pact.

In gas news, Slovakia's gas importer says they have seen roughly a 10%reduction in gas supplies today.
