Ohio Approves The Casinos (PENN, IGT, BYI, SHFL)

Ohio finally approves the casinos and Penn National Gaming (Nasdaq: PENN), Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, Forbes Company Nate Forbes, ex-Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer among others stand to benefit as they are the investors in the various casinos.
Issue 3 allows for the construction of four casinos in different cities in the state. This was the fifth time that the casino gambling issue has appeared on the ballot in Ohio, but it is the first time that voters have said yes to casinos.
The vote was close on Issue 3 with the final vote being 1,003,591 in favor of Issue 3, to 884,543 against.
Casino supplies that will benefit from the construction of four casinos in Ohio include: International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), WMS Industries (NYSE: WMS), Multimedia Games (Nasdaq: MGAM), TransAct Technologies (Nasdaq: TACT), Shuffle Master (Nasdaq: SHFL), Bally Technologies (NYSE: BYI), and Konami (NYSE: KNM).
