A Chunk Of The Cadbury (CBY) Bar: Top Shareholders

A report by Thomson Reuters shows that of Cadbury’s (NYSE: CBY) top ten shareholders, four are U.S. investors.
New Jersey based Franklin Mutual Advisors is the single largest shareholder, with a holding of nearly 7.7%. Legal & General IM UK and Van Kampen Asset Management occupy second and third positions with 5.11% and 5.05% respectively.
Cadbury’s top ten shareholders account for nearly 35% of the company’s shares. Interestingly, nine out of these ten shareholders also have stakes in Kraft (NYSE: KFT), albeit in varying and mostly much lesser proportions. BlackRock IM and State Street jointly account for 7.1% of shares in Cadbury and 10.62% of shares in Kraft.
