Domestic flights on Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE: DAL) will cost a bit more, with the company raising the cost of the first online checked bag by $8 to $23 and the second online checked bag by $7 to $32 for flights within the US, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and Canada.

Meanwhile, customers paying baggage fees at the ticket counter, kiosk or curbside check-in will be shelling out more than $25 for the first checked bag and $35 for the second. Despite the hike, DAL’s baggage fees continue to be competitive, according to Delta spokeswoman Susan Chana Elliott.
