Abu Dhabi Stake in Hyatt Revealed

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority holds an anchor stake in US hotels operator Hyatt Group (NYSE: H)(FREE stock trend analysis), Hyatt has disclosed.

ADIA bought just over 10% of the company’s recent share offering, putting its stake in the company at 2.5% of total shares.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ADIA is the largest investment vehicle the Emirate controls to manage its wealth.

Hyatt’s shares gained 64 cents, or 2%, to close at $30.15 in trading today.
