NASDAQ's Most Advanced Today (LIMS, ARRY, SGEN, JASO, JAZZ)

The most advanced shares in today's NASDAQ trade so far were of Starlims Technologies Limited (NASDAQ: LIMS), Array BioPharma Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY), Seattle Genetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGEN), JA Solar Holdings Co. Ltd. (ADR) (NASDAQ: JASO) and Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAZZ).

Starlims increased 45.16% to $13.79 in the trade today as Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT) is set to buy Starlims for a $123 million in cash.

Array BioPharma increased 26.22% to $2.84 after Array entered in to a deal with Amgen, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN). As per the deal, Array will develop a potential treatment for type 2 diabetes and will receive a $60 million upfront payment from Amgen.

Seattle Genetics increased 6.26% to $9.5 after it entered into a strategic collaboration with Takeda Pharm Co Ltd (ADR)(OTC: TKPHY).

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. increased 4.53% in today's trade to $5.55 after it announced a share repurchase program. JA Solar will repurchase up to an aggregate of $75 million of its American Depositary Shares.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals increased 3.06% to $8.75 after it submitted a new drug application for JZP-6 (Sodium oxybate) for the treatment of Fibromyalgia.

The other top movers were Papa John's Int'l, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA) that increased 2.77% to $22.25, Leap Wireless International, Inc. (NASDAQ: LEAP) that increased 2.4% to a $15.76, Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NASDAQ: CLNE) which increased 2.28% to $13.9 and SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWRA) which increased 2.2% to $23.70.
