Sara Lee (NYSE: SLE) has been attempting to sell its household products and bodycare businesses since earlier this year and press reports are saying privately held SC Johnson may be interested in acquiring part of the business.

Dow component Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) is also rumored to be interested in acquiring the business from Sara Lee.

Revenue from the business is about $500 million per quarter and could net Sara Lee $3 billion in a sale, the media reports said.
