Benzinga’s Earnings Roundup (MBT, ANF, MFG, JCP)

Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (ADR) (NYSE: MBT) today reported that its consolidated third-quarter net income of $494.4 million and net revenue rose to $2267.6 million, an increase of 12.1% same quarter last year due to increase in subscribers rising voice and data consumption. MBT declined 57% to $20.89 in the pre-market session. So far this year, MBT is up 88%.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) announced its third-quarter earnings of $39 million, or $0.44 a share. While, sales fell to $765 million from $896 million compared to Analysts estimates of $0.20 a share on sales of $764 million. ANF gained 6.09% at $39 in the pre-market.

J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) reported third quarter earnings per share of $0.11 million. Total sales fell 3.2% while comparable store sales fell by 4.6%. JCP gained 3.78% at $30.70 in the pre-market session. Yesterday JCP closed at $29.39.

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (ADR) (NYSE: MFG) today reported first-half profit at 87.8 billion yen as compared to 94.6 billion last year. Total revenue also declined to 1.49 trillion yen, from a 1.90 trillion yen last year. Yesterday, MFG closed at $3.84.
