Here’s what analysts are saying about the Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone in comparison to Research in Motion's (NASDAQ: RIMM) Blackberry. An iPhone that can be used around the world would blow the monopoly off Blackberry as the leading business phone.
With the launch of a new microchip, Apple’s iPhone would have the capacity to be used across the globe. This would give it the cutting edge technology to overhaul the Blackberry to become the most popular smartphone.
Incidentally, the world iPhone is touted to contain a hybrid microchip manufactured by Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM). This chip could be used on the 3G cell phone network, commonly used in Africa and Europe along with the CDMA 2000 network utilized in the U.S. and China.
