MBIA Inc. (NYSE: MBI) plummeted 18.12% to $3.93 on huge volume of 9.42 million shares. So far this year is down only 3%.

ParkerVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRKR) tumbled 22% to $1.98 on huge volume of 1.45 million shares after ParkerVision announced the pricing of its public offering of its common stock at a price of $2.00 per share. In the last six months, PRKR declined by 38%.

Opnext, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPXT) plunged 28.22% to $2.06 on volume of 665K shares after Jefferies & Co today downgraded Opnext, Inc. from Buy to Hold. Yesterday, Opnext, Inc. also announced its second quarter financial results.

RHI Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RHIE) plunged 55% to $1.28 on volume of 333K shares after RHI Entertainment announced its third quarter financial results. RHI Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RHIE) announced revenues of $9.5 million from $53.5 million a year ago, adjusted EBITDA loss of $24.2 million versus a gain of $8.9 million same quarter last year. So far this year RHIE is down over 86%.
