Google (GOOG) CEO Takes a Potshot at Microsoft (MSFT) CEO

Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt took a shot at Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) in a recent interview in Boston. “I’ve learned not to respond to quotes by Steve Ballmer,” said Schmidt, when asked to comment about a statement made by Ballmer.

In a repeat of what Bill Gates would probably have said of IBM, Schmidt said Google would be careful not to repeat the mistakes Microsoft made in their time. Schmidt didn't elaborate on what these might be, but one can guess.
