According to The Associated Press, ever since it was launched in Japan in October, the sales of Windows 7 was fantastic. Although Steve Ballmer, Chief Executive of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) refused to give exact numbers, he said that Windows 7 is a big draw in that country. Its quick start time is one the features that is pulling customers.
Windows 7 comes after its predecessor was considered slow and is not working in perfect coordination with other existing programs and devices. Ballmer also credited that Microsoft’s Japanese subsidiary is currently its best performing one. Microsoft is also investing heavily on developing cloud computing services. Users get to access their software, store info and handle processing online through the Internet, instead of employing the current hardware like mobile phones or PCs.
