NeuroMetrix (NURO) Reports 2009 Q3 Financial Results

NeuroMetrix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NURO), a health care company transforming patient care through neuro technology, announced its third quarter financial results. Total revenues for the quarter were $6.3M, compared with $7.1M for the third quarter of 2008. For the nine months ended September 30, 2009 total revenues were $19.9M compared with $23.9M for the comparable period in 2008.

Net loss for the nine month period ended September 30, 2009 was $12.3M ($0.84 per share) and included the charge of $7.4M for the revaluation of warrants. In comparison, net loss for the comparable period in 2008 was $23.6M ($1.72 per share) and included a $2.2M investment impairment charge and a $7.0M loss from discontinued operations.
