Tonight is the night for MSN’s debutante new home page –a clean, hip, modern and clutter-free page. But it looks like the page now resembles Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL), just with an extra Facebook and Twitter links and a new search engine of MSN launched in May this year.

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) has acquired a certain search engine market share with launch of Bing, its new search engine, but it remains to be seen if it can outsmart Yahoo (NASDAQ: YHOO) and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) at all, in terms of visits. One big addition may be the Facebook and Twitter elements on the page, through which visitors can update their status and view friends and followers instantly. The new page will first become available to US users and then users worldwide.
