Landstar System, Inc. (Nasdaq: LSTR) a non-asset based provider of integrated supply chain solutions, reported 2009 third quarter net income of $20.1M, or $0.39 per diluted share, from revenue of $500.7M. Net income for the 2008 third quarter was $32.8M, or $0.62 per diluted share, from revenue of $732.8M.
Company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.045 per share. The dividend is payable on November 27, 2009 to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 2, 2009.
