1st United Bancorp, Inc (NASDAQ: FUBC) crossed its earlier 52-week high of $9.15 and created a new 52-week high of $9.20, up 1.77%. FUBC is the financial holding company of 1st United Bank.

Abraxas Petroleum Corporation (NASDAQ: AXAS) rose 5.12% to $2.70 on total volume of 310,840 shares, as compared to the average volume of 320,352. Wunderlich initiated coverage of AXAS with a “buy” rating.

Ameris Bancorp (NASDAQ: ABCB) was another stock that made a new 52-week high at $11, before slipping to $10.97, marking 2.24% growth at 11:57 am. ABCB has just sold 9,473,125 common shares for $90 million and will use these proceeds to meet general purpose expenses and potentially undertake acquisitions.

Audiovox Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX) today broke its previous 52-week high and made a new high at $8.50, reflecting a gain of 2.41%. VOXX is a distributor and value added service provider to industries such as accessory, mobile and consumer electronics.

BancFirst Corporation (NASDAQ: BANF) crossed its earlier 52-week high of $46.42 and created a new 52-week high of $46.52, reflecting a rise of 0.28%. Keefe Bruyette upgraded BANF from “underperform” to “market perform”.
