Air Delivery & Freight Services: The top gainer of the day, this industry added 4.71% by 2:30 pm. The top gainer within the industry was United Parcel Service Inc (NYSE: UPS), which jumped 5.61%. UPS today announced its first quarter results and delivered impressive growth on the top line.
Broadcasting - Radio: This industry climbed 3.51% by 2:30 pm ET. The top performer in this industry was Cumulus Media Inc (NASDAQ: CMLS), which added 6.62%. CMLS acquires, operates and develops commercial radio stations in mid-size radio markets in the US.
Trucking: This industry moved up 2.82% by 2:30 pm, with Landstar System, Inc (NASDAQ: LSTR) climbing 4.86% to gain the top spot. LSTR, and other truckers, were seeing a rally after United Parcel Service posted impressive Q1 results.
Recreational Vehicles: The industry, which rose 2.24%, has the top gainer in the form of Arctic Cat (NASDAQ: ACAT). ACAT gained 3.22% to trade at $12.49. The company designs, engineers, manufactures and markets snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), as well as related parts, garments and accessories.
