Friday again ended up, even if slightly, making it the fourth consecutive week to end higher. The stocks that made impressive movement in the US stock market are:

Gainers

Arca Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ: ABIO) soared about 210% to $8.22, after the biotech company announced that it has received patents from the US Patent and Trademark Office, protecting its heart-failure treatment methods.

Ventiv Health Inc (NASDAQ: VTIV) climbed 17% after the New York Post reported that the firm had hired a financial advisor to sell the company.

The Finish Line Inc (NASDAQ: FINL) gained 16% after the company’s quarterly earnings beat expectations.

GLG Partners Inc (NYSE: GLG) jumped 15% after there were rumors of Man Group holding talks with GLG about possible investment, acquisition and distribution deals.

CapLease Inc (NYSE: LSE) shares climbed 14% after the investment trust priced a $41.5 million secondary stock offering.

After Cost Plus Inc (NASDAQ: CPWM) reported a profitable fourth quarter and issued better than anticipated forecast, the company’s shares added 10%.

RadioShack Corp (NYSE: RSH) shares advanced 8.5% in the wake of a New York Post report that the electronics retailer may be sold for as much as $3 billion.

Losers

ATC Technology Corp (NASDAQ: ATAC) shares slid 24% after the auto-parts supplier issued its profit forecasts for the first-quarter and 2010 short of the Wall Street expectations.

Synnex Corp (NYSE: SNX) shares lost 7.8% after the company reported quarterly earnings late Thursday.
