US stocks continued to rally yesterday after the PPI for the month of Febraury came in positive. The Dow Jones Industrial Average components that performed brilliantly during yesterday’s session are:
Allied Irish Banks PLC (NYSE: AIB) shares climbed 7.8% and those of Bank of Ireland (NYSE: IRE) rose about 5%. However, the volume of both banks was low.

Medicines Co (NASDAQ: MDCO) shares gained 19.01% after the drug developer said it won a legal round in its effort to extend a patent on one of its leading products.
Polycom Inc (NASDAQ: PLCM) rose 8.87% after India's second-largest mobile services provider announced a deal with the supplier of video solutions.
VirnetX Holding Corp (NYSE: VHC) shares climbed 12.5% after reports claiming that the company had won a patent-infringement ruling against Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ: MSFT) hit the market.
Temple-Inland Inc (NYSE: TIN) shares gained 9.1% after Standard & Poor's put its ratings for the timber company on credit watch with positive implications.
