Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ: FNSR) shares jumped 5.51% to $14.75. The volume of FNSR shares traded was 159% higher than normal. Auriga USA initiated coverage of FNSR with a “buy” rating.
Pegasystems Inc (NASDAQ: PEGA) shares rose 6.00% to $39.04. The volume of PEGA shares traded was 154% higher than normal. PEGA is acquiring Chordiant Software (NASDAQ: CHRD) for $162 million.
Baidu Inc (NASDAQ: BIDU) shares moved up 5.30% to $579.42. The volume of BIDU shares traded was 148% higher than normal. BIDU jumped today following reports that rival Google Inc (NASDAQ: GOOG) is close to taking a decision on closing its search engine in China.
