Index Ventures Invests $25 Million In Sonos

According to ”Sonos Confirms $25 Million Investment from Index Ventures”,TechCrunch, Sonos confirmed that it has taken an additional $25 million from Index Ventures. The total capital raised by the company now is about $65 million.

An additional funding suggests that the company is using the funds for growth and early market penetration. Mike Volpi, an Index Ventures Partner and former Cisco executive, has joined Sonos’ board.

The high end music products company is said to be enjoying massive growth in its S5 music system that was launched in 2009.
