Orange County Files Lawsuit Against Toyota (TM)

Orange County prosecutors announced on Friday that they had filed a lawsuit against Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE: TM) regarding the safety problems with the auto manufacturer's vehicles.
Toyota Motor Corporation is accused of selling hundreds of thousands of vehicles, knowing full well that the vehicles had serious safety defects.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the citizens of Orange County.
Toyota Motor Corporation has recalled more than 6 million vehicles in the United States alone. The vehicles are said to be plagued with braking and acceleration defects.
