According to a report released by Signal Hill, the introduction of CSR-3 router by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) is likely to benefit the entire semiconductor sector.

The new router will help in increasing demand for NetLogic (NASDAQ: NETL), Cavium (NASDAQ: CAVM), and PMC-Sierra (NASDAQ:PMCS), as they will reap the benefits of increased bandwidth demand for video traffic.

Cavium, and NetLogic will also benefit by spurt in demand for their processor, and KGB solutions, respectively. Cavium has also seen a 33% increase in business from Cisco during the fourth-quarter.

The report also said that the semiconductor industry still has plenty of room left for growth.
